Bio
“I am just not capable of writing happy songs, but I am a happy person” is what Colletti says of herself and thus labels her music as sad songs for happy people. Growing up in a small village on the countryside, she gathered tons of bittersweet childhood and coming-of age memories that make up most of her songs, others deal with the pleasures and pitfalls of daily life and the ups and downs of being. Her voice: Some say a bit of Heather Nova, a few others Tracy Chapmann, many Dolores O’Riordan. In any case: It’s one you would recognize. Next to her own shows Colletti supported acts like Frankie Stubbs, Northcote, Sincere Engineer or Mobina Galore in the last two years. It was only in 2020 that Colletti started writing songs again – after 15 years of musical silence. She released an EP in 2022, an album is on the way and will be released this summer.
