winded is a band from Miami-Dade and Broward County. winded is comprised of Thrin, Nick, Gunther, and James, and have been performing together as this lineup since mid 2024. winded began as the solo project of Thrin in 2016 in a dorm room at FSU, and blossomed into a full band in 2018 with friends in Tallahassee. After a brief stint in New York, this project found its home back in South Florida in 2021, and is joined by dear friends in its new iteration. winded had the joy of recording their last release “double single” with Jon Nuñez at Sound Artillery Studio in Miami in August of 2024, which definitively leveled up the group’s sound. winded is deeply grateful to join the Fest lineup this year, and looks forward to releasing new music in the very near future.
