Bio
Ian Legge, known as the punk cellist, started playing cello and drum set around the age of nine. After playing drums in a skate punk band for over a decade, he began arranging his favorite songs as cello quartet pieces. Soon after, he was sharing the stage with bands, such as a Wilhelm scream, Red City Radio, and H2O. In addition, he has recorded cello for Sum 41, Fat Mike’s Strung Out, Jason Devore of Authority Zero, and more. He performs his arrangements at shows and festivals and is a successful wedding cellist.
he released his first demo in fall of 2022 and will be releasing his first full length album called arrangements volume one in 2025. The release will feature a total of 10 tracks consisting of five cello arrangements and five full band arrangements from bands such as NOFX, Turnstile, The Ramones, New Found Glory, Blink-182, and more.
