The Holy Ghost Tabernacle Choir
Savannah, GA
Bio
Over the course of about six years, The Holy Ghost Tabernacle Choir has become an institution in the underground circuit. They cut their teeth in DIY scenes across America through touring heavily for a few of those years. On top of touring 60-100 days a year, they also maintained a powerful pace of releasing music across albums, EPs, splits, singles, and covers for charity compilations.
Their politically charged approach to making music, and their dedication to liberation and equality for all POC, LGBTQ+, disabled, native, femme, survivors of abuse, survivors of addiction, survivors of suicide, and othered individuals creates an energetic and eclectic audience for them. From the beginning, they were determined to use whatever platform they had to make a difference in the world. Utilizing their chaotic brand of mathcore music, they have been able to be part of and promote various charity fundraisers, local organization, and sharing of sensitive topics.
Part of The Holy Ghost Tabernacle Choir’s legacy is their absolutely incredible live performance. A true feat, and a highlight of FEST weekends for the last three years, they are a powerhouse of chaotic instrumentation, high energy stage presence, and heartfelt crowd interaction that will leave you wowed. As they’ve been taking a bit of a break from the road, their FEST sets are the only shows they have booked this year, so make sure to catch them!
