Sadlands is a band from Brooklyn/Queens, formed by members of Answering Machine, Choke Up, and Ellen and the Degenerates. The group blends grunge, folk/alternative, and pop punk into uptempo ear worms. Dueling vocalists and songwriters Samantha Campanile and Jess Lane are joined by Louis Rabeno on bass and Harley Cox on drums. In 2023 Sadlands made a pilgrimage to Asbury Park, home of their beloved Bruce Springsteen, to record their debut EP with Pete Steinkopf of The Bouncing Souls.
