With shimmering feedback, passionate vocals, pleading lyrics, and searing guitar leads, dueling vocalists and guitarists Sam Campanile and Jess Lane deliver fiery songs that cut straight to the heart.
Their dynamic earworms are complemented by Louis Rabeno’s driving basslines and powerhouse Harley Cox on drums.
Formed by members of Answering Machine, Choke Up, and Ellen and the Degenerates, Sadlands combine the power punk sensibility of The Ergs and Bad Moves with the emotional depths of Cayetana and Hop Along.
Sadlands spent the summer of 2024 recording 12 songs with Matt Schimelfenig of Gladie at The Bunk in the Pennsylvania Poconos. “Bandits” is the first song released from those sessions.
