Max (Signals Midwest) and Toby (The Sidekicks) met on a ska message board in 2006, met in person in 2010, and started a band together in 2020. If you like their other bands you’ll probably dig this one, but Orbits is also a celebration of (largely 90s flavored) influences like Archers of Loaf, Pedro the Lion, and Superchunk. Come for the riffs, stay for the songs about body horror, work/life balance, and finding out you’re getting evicted fifteen minutes before your set at Fest 14.
