HEARTWELLS are a punk rock band, on new indie label HEY!FEVER Records. Born from a connection on Craig’s List, formed in Gilmore Music Long Beach, CA, in November of 2023. After some beers, Hi Boys, Ghosts & extreme mediocre golf rounds, during a world pandemic; HEARTWELLS made haste, dropped leisure sports, to write punk songs and play shows. Soon after, independently releasing a 2023 EP- FORE! and later a full length 2024 LP- THE NEW OLD SCHOOL, both recorded at Buzzbomb Studios with the legendary Paul Miner (Death By Stereo/NFG/Atreyu/Thrice).
HEARTWELLS have a nostalgic 90’s melodic punk sound, consisting of members orphaned by old bands from around the US, creating a modern twist, with familiar old punk rooted nods, mixed with subtle hints of metal, ska, soul, pop, hardcore and more; blending all their musical influences together as one.
Hitting the road, touring and bringing live music to people is a fundamental ethos, and their commerce is community; continuing to carry the punk rock torch, honoring those before, captivating new listeners and helping to re-establish connections with bands, venues, promoters, friends, punk family, and fans of punk rock all over the world.
HEARTWELLS are currently working on a brand-new 2025 EP release with Paul Miner.
