Cape Crush is a Boston-based DIY supergroup consisting of members of Choke Up, the Effort, TRAGWAG, Lessener, and Matahari. Playing sparkly male-backed emo/power-pop with inspirations spanning from the Weakerthans, to the Get Up Kids, to Lemuria and beyond. Cape Crush released their debut EP ‘San Souci’ in April of 2023 which received 2 nominations for Boston Music Awards. Most of all, Cape Crush is 4 old friends having a blast playing music together.
