Walking Blue is an indie emo flower rock band from Orlando, Florida. The four-piece has carved their place in the Florida DIY music scene by coupling an energetic sound with emotionally driven lyrics inspired by 4th wave emo influences. Their shows are high-octane and engaging with moshing and crowd surfing becoming staples of the set.
The band formed out of an on-campus gazebo in 2022 by Jimmy Kildea and James Thome. The boys were both just starting their freshman year and coming from New Jersey and Chicago respectively. After attending local shows together and becoming enamored by Orlando’s DIY scene, they began working on their original music. What followed was their 2023 debut album and 2025’s EP “In Greyscale”, whose single “Bodies” landed them a spot at the 2025 Vans Warped Tour main stage right in their hometown. Fresh off their first tour, the band is hungry for more and will be releasing their second full-length album “Something Cosmic” on August 26th.
