Sad Snack, San Francisco’s queer, non-binary ska-punk band, are known to throw “depressing” snack foods into the audience while playing sing-along riffy anthems about community, day jobs and identity in the time of rising fascism. Their latest release, 2025’s Vending Machine (Sell the Heart Records) features Esteban Flores (Matamoska) on keys and voiceovers from the In Defense of Ska podcast (Adam Davis and Aaron Carnes).
