Houseghost is a punk band from Dayton Ohio formed in 2018 as a recording project by brother and sister, Nick and Kayla Hamby. They quickly put together a real band, started playing shows and making a name for themselves in the local scene. Taking influence from classic punk bands like the Misfits and Ramones as well as goth/new wave bands like The Cure and Joy Division, Houseghost plays self-described “spooky punk”, all at once sounding familiar and wholly original.
