Originally formed to soundtrack an indie superhero comedy, Arid Wave have come a long way from the childhood bedroom that brothers Ben (guitar and vocals) and Will Palmer (drums) held their first practices in. In 2o26 the band are more focused, determined and sonically concise than ever, with their latest release “Hüsker Dööm” showcasing the perfect melting pot of their influences: the pop-focused hooks of the post grunge era, the frantic drumming and riffs of post-hardcore and the down-tuned guitars and bellowed vocals of sludge metal.
With their newest member Chris Cutler (bass) in tow, they’ll be bringing their frantic live show to The Fest for the band’s first ever international performance. Come bang your head and throw your body around to some of the nastiest riffs in town!
