Brightr

Brighton via Newport, UK

No Reason Records (IT), Penultimate Records (AUS), Lockjaw Records (UK) & Never Meant Records (IRE)

Bio

After 5 years of touring, releasing music and spreading acoustic emo gloom across the globe, Brightr (aka Laurie Cottingham) has decided to make 2020 his last. With an expiry date set for December 31st, don’t expect much resting before the end, no sir. New music is planned for the coming months, as well as a whole bunch of tours and adventures, to see off Brightr in style. Honoured to be returning to Fest for his 3rd time (his self-confessed favourite Festival), expect new songs alongside a plethora of stories, more energy than ever before and a whole lot of tears. With a live performance that is best described as group therapy, with music.
