Bo Diddley Plaza

111 E University Ave, Gainesville, FL

The Bo Diddley Plaza is a city owned community plaza that Gainesville is allowing us to take over for FEST!!! We will be putting 8′ high chain length fencing around the plaza to enclose the area for FEST. On Saturday and Sunday we will also shut down 1st Ave downtown to expand the Plaza so we can hold even more FEST attendees. This will make the Bo Diddley Plaza our biggest venue in FEST history and hopefully allow you all to see the bands playing the main stage. Please visit the FAQ section of the FEST site for more info to come on rules for what is allowed in the Bo Diddley Plaza.

RE-ENTRY IS PERMITTED but if you leave a venue you will have to wait in line to get back in if it is at capacity.

For your safety and the safety of others, guests and their possessions are subject to inspection as condition of admittance. Please have your bags open and available for inspection.

Private vending (including tickets) is prohibited within the  grounds and outside the grounds within 300 feet.

*The FEST will not hold or be responsible for valuable items such as cameras and video cameras for you during the show. You will have to return them to your vehicle which can be far away. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

There are (2) parking garages within a short walking distance to the Bo Diddley Plaza. If you do drive we suggest parking there.
