Spanish Love Songs

Los Angeles, CA

Spanish Love songs are a 5-piece punk band from Los Angeles, CA. Their sound combines the energy of a drunken bar show and the intimacy of passionate, lived-in lyrics. The band released their debut album “Giant Sings The Blues” in 2015 via Wiretap Records (US) and Bearded Punk Records (EU). “If Punk Rock has always been raw, with all the brash vulnerability implied therein, then Spanish Love Songs may be the genre’s modern epitome. It’s not singer Dylan Slocum’s limber roar that makes Giant Sings the Blues a powerful punk record, then, or even it’s guitars barking at the tantruming drums, instead, it’s the raw nerves revealed in those songs that remind us that we’re frail, imperfect, and human….” (Dane Erbach, New Noise Magazine 2016).
