PEARS has proven in their year long existence that punk is very much a living, breathing, powerful experience.  The dialogue between bands and their fans is imperative and PEARS moves beyond their acclaimed debut record “Go To Prison” to deliver an essential and transcendent live show that uniquely displays what it means to be in a band that is constantly progressing, both musically and psychologically.  Vocalist Zach Quinn has been compared to the likes of a young Iggy Pop and Mick Jagger, commanding attention with every primal scream and viciously mesmerizing melody. With the ever decreasing presence of the classic punk rock front-man aura, Quinn effectively resurrects the dying art form. Guitarist Brian Pretus effortlessly melds precision stop and go hardcore riffs with abstractly pop tendencies, to create the unique combination of sounds that define PEARS. Alex Talbot’s beautifully destructive bass lines and Jarret Nathan’s relentless and unique drumming perfectly compliment the efforts of both Quinn and Pretus.
