La Peche is a five-piece indie-rock act born out of Brooklyn New York. Fronted by singer-songwriter, Krista Holly Diem, the band boasts a sound inspired by, but certainly not derivative of your favorite band.
After a brief spell away from music, Krista Holly picked up writing again drawing inspiration from both past and present. With her husband, and bassist, Dave Diem, she began reworking old songs and before long, was composing new tunes. Soon, there was a desire to perform and share some music. The two enlisted the talents of a few good friends and musicians. Stoked, La Peche now includes the intricate and thoughtful guitar slaying of Drew DeMaio, the haunting voice of Keiko Ichinose to weave with Krista’s provocative melodies, and the creative rhythm of Jefferson Gensterblum.
La Peche has an east coast tour in the works to support, “Bright and Bending”, the upcoming 5-song 12” E.P. on Bakery Outlet Records. Buying their music, booking the band, or coming out to see them perform their unique and catchy indie-rock, with folky undertones, would be just peachy.
