Hora Douse

Manchester, UK

Hora Douse are a three-piece ‘rock’ band from Manchester, UK. Drawing from a distinct influence of powerful, emotive artists such as Brand New, Manchester Orchestra, and Sorority Noise: “the band whirls between grunge, melodic hardcore and post-punk. It’s a daring mix that shouldn’t work, but does.” [PunkNews.org]

Growing close together as school friends, their local DIY scene helped shape their writing, performances and social outlook: playing & touring with the likes of Future of the Left, Petrol Girls, and The Winter Passing. Currently, the band have quietly been recording with Bob Cooper (Self Defence Family, Citizen, Nai Harvest) over the past year, working on the follow-up to their previous two EPs.
