Crime In Stereo

Long Island, NY

Crime in Stereo is a band from Long Island, New York, who have released four studio albums, each pushing the boundaries of melodic hardcore, alternative and punk to progressive heights more than the last. Their most recent effort is 2010’s I Was Trying to Describe You to Someone, described by guitarist Alex Dunne as their “biggest accomplishment as a band. It’s not just our best record; it’s leaps and bounds beyond everything we’ve done previously.” Its recording was helmed in the summer and fall of 2009 by producer extraordinaire Mike Sapone. After a brief hiatus taken from 2011 to 2012, the band reemerged late that year for some well-received shows. They’ve since been hard at work on new material.
