Once again the FEST is opening the FEST FLEA MARKET. It is not your typical FLEA though. Well, more like a FEST DIRT MALL.
Set up in trade show fashion you have rows of tabling. Last year we had a ton of labels who set up and well, kinda sold stuff. More like drank a bunch of cold ones, gave hugs, and probably gave away more than they sold. We also had a section where you could get FESTive tattoos, FEST hawks, and group theme park style photos so you can remember the good times before you enter the ride and forget it all. We had charities, clothing, design companies and many more sections of folks showing off what they care about. This year we expect more of the same.
Located inside the main conference center of the official FEST 7 Hotel (University Holiday Inn) located across the street from Leonardo’s by the Slice. This is also the same room where FEST 7 registration will be held so you will have an opportunity to set up your label, distro, clothing company and expose your junk to all the FEST 7 attendees, bands, guests, volunteers, and the general Gainesville public. So, everyone who has anything to do with FEST 7 will have the chance to check out your junk or just be able to find you to bring you for a hug and hi-five.
So, if you make some cool art and farts and crafts? Have some records you care about selling or maybe you just want to hype up your website, magazine, or crazy ass Steve Urkel stenciled on a toilet seat then this is the affordable opportunity for you!!!
Here is how it works. We will have THE FEST 7 FLEA MARKET open from noon-5pm on Friday October 31st and Saturday Nov 1st from noon- 5pm again.
Like I mentioned before, the location will be at the OFFICIAL FEST 7 HOTEL This will also be the same area as FEST 7 registration so everyone who attends FEST 7 will be within feet of your table. How can you pass this opportunity up?
Here is the only catch. We only have 60- 3’x2.5’ spaces. Last year we filled up and we are also offering tabling included in our sponsorship packages (email for more info).
Here are the rates
(Half table)-3’x2.5’ table space -$50 per day
(Full table)- Double your space to 6’x2.5’ for an extra $50 per day
*price does not include FEST 7 passes. That is all on you busta!
