I gotta get the fuck outta here. Davey went to try to get our equipment out of his old house. The fire is very near there. I havn't heard from him, but hopefully he got it, cuz we won't be able to go back before Fest to get our equipment. They evacuated everyone in that area, so we might be borrowing everything from people in Florida. The fire burned over 100,000 acres, and a lot of homes already. This fire has reached a lot of the residential areas of San Diego County including Escondido where all Tiltwheel and Dan Padilla's stuff is. Wish us luck.

man, I hope for the best for you and everyone else. the majority of my family lives there and I used to live there (east valley as well as escondido) and it sucks hearing about it and seeing it. Major bummer, good luck to you guys

Where the hell are they evacuating everyone to, cause I heard they're even evacuating Oceanside?

They've evacuated 300,000 people in the county, and they are sending them to football stadiums and parking lots. It is already the worst fire in California history, and it has only been burning for a day. The weather shows no relief, and there is no containment on the fires at all. Santa Anas are a bitch right now. 20-30 mph with gusts to 50 and 5% humidity with temperatures in the 90's.

Good luck guys. I hope you can get your equipment. I lived in Vista when we had the wildfires a few years ago and it was a nightmare.
