HWM are not playing the Fest. Hopefully they'll be on board next year, but we just have to wait and see.

The internets already a buzz with this... so unless this close source is Chuck Ragans mom or something. I'm not buying it until I see it.

i dont have my hopes up that they'll play this weekend...but it has been a suspicion that they would for a while...i mean small brown bike is doing it, its the perfect time.
best show ever: hot water music, small brown bike, and leatherface. 2 nights in a row. hwm and leatherface played springtime together. it was amazing.
in the bit of the ap interview black says they're gonna do 6 to 8 shows (if that shit is real) i think i might have to go to all of them!

Here's my guess...not to get any ones hopes up or blow a suprise, whichever the case may be.
Lopan Takes Japan is a secret band that is supposed to be obviously Less than Jake, but is actually going to be Hot Water Music. They ARE between The Draft and Small Brown Bike. It almost seems obvious.

why would a band on a crazy weekend like this...
want to play 2 sets back to back...they would split it up...
plus so many people were so SO BUMMED out if they missed a HWM reunion why would they do that to their fans...
monday rolls around, Hey did you catch that HWM set????
WHAT? they played????
it just wouldn't be right...

I can't say it any clearer than I already said in the above post, Hot Water Music are NOT playing the Fest.
