It hit me last night while I was drunk, screaming through the hallways of my friends place in a wheelchair, clutching a whiskey bottle . . . I'm almost done with my job, the motel room's reserved, and the van's all set.

I don't know if I'm ready.

Oh yeah.

I was talking with one of the dudes I'm going with and he's like, we need to practice drinking lots of beer. I'm like, it's pretty much too late! If we aren't ready now we never will be! haha

Last night i was making dinner andl listening to Radon and i felt this giddy sensation. It's like the last week of school before summer vacation!! Just knowing that you're a week away from losing your mind... it's too much.

I've been practicing playing on every substance known to man plus all the alcohol I can drink Either I am gonna rock or die before I even play Fest.

Starting tomorrow I'll be in NYC and Philly all weekend going to every American Steel show I can get to as well as the insane show at Joe Porter's house then Monday and Tuesday I'll be in this weird pocket universe of being back in the office for 2 days, and then it's on the road to the Fest clear through to next week.

Those two days at work are gonna be so weird, but necessary, cause they're probably gonna pay my rent since I'm not planning on bringing any of my paycheck home from Gainesville!

play Fest? when'd this happen?

The Fest takes up a large majority of my thought process through out the day. I often find myself spacing out and thinking about it. A part of me is excited as hell. Another is almost sad that it's here. Sad because of the year I'll have to wait to be there again. Kind of like mourning it before it's even passed.

But that'll disappear with my first few PBRs on Friday.

how much does beer usually cost at the Fest venues? like PBR or high life or stuff like that?

pbr drafts are usually a buck.. old mills/high life tall boys at atlantic and cgs are 1.50.

i plan on drinking stictly PBR though.
