I will gladly play ambassador! Chances are I'll be there with Mike (until recently of the Measure fame) and possibly others. What are your plans between Friday and the Fest? Will you be attenting the Amsteel show the following day in NY or Sunday in Philly?

Yeah we've booked tickets for the show the following night too. It's moved venues right? We don't have much planned for Sunday/Monday other than being tourist wankers then Tuesday we fly to Gainesville.
It would be great if you could take us to this show after the boat trip though as I don't fancy our chances finding our own way there!!

Yes, the show on Saturday has been moved to Club Exit in the Greenpoint section of Brooklyn. I've never been to Club Exit, but I do know it's less than a block away from the Lost & Found, which puts on awesome punk shows AND gives free hot dogs or veggie dogs with every drink you purchase!
Arrrrgh, I just noticed that ticketweb is no longer selling tickets for the boat cruise, I was going to book them today. Hopefully I can still get on that.

Yeah I heard the other day it was sold out. Do they normally hold back tickets for the night?
Thankfully we booked ours when we booked our flights!

I'm not certain, I've never gone to one of these cruises before. The RocksOff (promoter's) website has a "day-of" price listed, but I don't know if that is a guarantee that there will be additional tickets available. Either way I'm gonna try my luck to be on that boat with you! And either way, we should definitely meet up and I'll let you know how to get to Joe's house.

Yea bring your own booze to the brooklyn house show tonight.

anyway im still going to try to make both shows (boat cruise and brooklyn house show). and i'll be at club exit on Sat too

I'm going on the boat trip tonight so if anyone is going to the house show after that can take me and a mate there or tell us where to go then please come and say hi. I'm wearing a Riot Fest shirt with a black and white Chicago flag on the front and Naked Raygun on the back. Also have a black jacket with big 7 Seconds back patch.
Hopefully see some of you later!

I got there after the boat cruise in time to catch Ringers and the Ergs, both of whom tore it up. Timmy and Chris are totally high quality dudes. What with all the shows this weekend I'm gearing up into full Fest mode already!

The Boat show was interesting to say the least. whiskey/coke were $8 goddamn dollars - beer was $6. either way it felt like you were far more intoxicated than you actually were. american steel played a kick ass set.
and that house show was insane. ringers and ergs were great. 22oz yuengling for 1.50 helped. bummed that i missed OWTH but goodtimes.

We hailed fifteen cabs in chelsea but not one of them knew where the street was so we ended up going to see old time relijun instead. New York's Alright If You Like Saxaphones.
