you lucky Tampa people and your "cold outside"
last night i stepped outside at about 4am and it was still shitty humid
I'll never understand Florida weather, less than 2 hours apart and there can be like a 15 degree difference in temperature

 hahah!
you lot with your incredible weather make me sick! i walked to work in the cold and dark, then home in the cold and absolutely pissing wet, and you're all like 'the temperature fluctuated between fuckin' awesome and pretty damn sweet - what a nightmare!' pahh!
there are a few gigs coming up that will be sweet, like The Loved Ones and Lucero in Nov and Dec but still, it'll be like 'this is good, but Fest was better'.. way to ruin music for me guys!

As low as 65 at night? I'm going to melt within seconds.

jonny it did not get to 65 degrees here last night. you were probably just drunk sitting in front of your freezer with the lights off thinking you were outside.

Am I the only one insane enough to be getting pre-post-fest-stress disorder?
maybe I could run away while still in the states, and live in a tent in someones garden. I wouldn't eat much, I could collect bottles in a trolley all day and eat beans from a can at night.
I definitely know how you feel, it's pretty much like you anticipate the Fest alllll year long and once it's over, you realize you now have the maximum amount of time until the next Fest.
I'm spurred on pretty much by the Stiff Little Fingers tour coming through in mid-November to chase the blues away, and then in early December my birthday show which is always kick ass. But yeah, I definitely hear what you're saying.
And incidentally, we're looking for a new roommate for my house in New Jersey. Cheap rent, and you can come drink at McCormick's and hang out with the Ergs and the Measure all day. Whattayasay?

Sunday night was pretty amazing here. First day and night we could shut off the ac and open all the windows with out dying of the humidity and heat. had a nice breeze off the lake too. Felt like one of thoes really perfect fall days. I hope it cools down more like that for Fest or maybe a little cooler even.

I sold knives to make money for Fest and proceeded to quit once I got 300 dollars.
I am not envious of real employees.

that sounds cool in the context of 'i sold knives to crack-addicted kids in brooklyn', but im guessing it's more like 'i sold knives door-to-door to housewives and fat lonely guys who live with their mothers'?

the only thing keeping me alive once i have to go back to my shitty job post Fest is that my band is starting to get some pretty good shows.
have a listen to badly recorded demos if you like folk-punk type ness
we are called Jurassic Park Theme Tune, i think thats reason enough to listen.

You've got it on the nose there, sir.
They're nice knives, to be fair.
