Accomodation: I'm looking at the chelsea hostelright now, people speak highly of it, and a double room (two single beds) is about $70 a night (which is cheap by anyone's standards), seeing as we're all arriving and leaving different days, i dunno if we could all get a room together. People say the chelsea is a cool hangout spot all the same, and seems easily accessable so... I dunno, i'm still waiting to hear back from the mate about the place he was so i'm booking nothing yet.
The Chelsea is where Sid killed Nancy...on accident of course.

Is it the same Chelsea as there seems to be various Chelsea Inns/Hostels/Hotels in the area? I did wonder about that myself though.

Nah, that's chelsea hotel, we're staying in Chelsea International Hostel. Isn't the chelsea hotel where leonard cohen got a blowjob that he wrote a song about? And jefferey lewis wrote a song about meeting a hot chick outside the hotel and them talking about leonard cohen getting a blowjob? That history alone is nearly worth the $200 a night rooms (not really).

It's CMJ week so there's a bunch going on this week. Bad Religion Tonight, Bouncing Souls, Lifetime, Modern Life is war on Tuesday. The Falcon, Tim Barry, the loved ones on thursday. Polar bear club on saturday. It's a mess of shows.
And a lot of money out of my pockets ;[

Yeah I'm gutted about missing this. We arrive about 9 that night so by the time we've cleared customs/baggage claim and got into town we will be just in time to miss the whole damn show!
