Magners is much sweeter the Strongbow.

I've honestly never had cider and I found a variation of the snakebite called a tarantula. The names just keep getting cooler so I gotta try it.

I used to drink Magners a lot, until I was informed of all the Suphides that are in it as a preservative (its right there on the bottle) that apparently cause altzemers.. the Coors super 'spinning pint-glass icy topped magic show' is the best thing i've had recently, but they are insanely expensive (like £3.50 a pint!)
speaking of which, does the U.S use pint glasses, or are what they use bigger/smaller?

Best thing to do with magners/bulmers - split a pint into two glasses, split a can of redbull between the two, throw in a vodka to each. A variation on snakebite maybe but it fucks you up pretty comprehensive.

That sounds fucking rank but I'll bet it does the job!

Has anyone ever had a "Leveller"? Its a pint of any strong scrumpy with a shot of gin in it. Apparently your fine at first but as soon as you go outside you lose all control of your legs.

If we're talking ridiculous drinking, there's always the 'silly shotgun'. It takes the concept of the shotgun (or torpedo, or strawpedo, or whatever you call it) which is fairly silly to begin with and makes it sillier. Basically you drink a small space at the top of your beer (or alcopop or whatever) and then fill said space with a shot of the spirit of your choice, and then shotgun it. I don't recommend doing this too many times in too short a period.
Also, RSJ, that sounds like the most rank drink ever conceived of!

My band invented a Drink on tour, it was actually suprisingly tasty but you have to get the mix just right, and probably have to have a couple in you before you want to go at it, but we called it a "Class War" it's Beck's Dark mixed with Sparks, if you get the mix right it tastes like coke. There's also the "Mondo", which is Sparks and PBR.
other than that, who's down on some car bombs, so delicious and so expensive.

Pint glasses are the most common if you get served a beer in a glass, but I bet most venues during the Fest will serve beer in a plastic cup, which could be 16oz, or it could be 12oz...hard to say.

What's that in real money?
Edit: about 470 or 350ml, I see.

Another general booze question. Do they serve Wild Turkey in most places? Is there anywhere in Gainesville that sells bottles of Crown Royal Whiskey?

Fucking YES! Also somebody once told me about a liquor called Everclear which is supposed to be ball bustingly sweet and strong if I remember correctly so will keep my eye out for that as well.

Be SUPER careful with Everclear. It's 180 proof grain alcohol thats not really sweet but will fuck up your night.
While we're on the subject of super strong liqours...
I'll have some homemade moonshine with me thats had cherries soaking in it for a month... mmmmmmm
