My flight lands at 11:10am and I'm trying to make it to the btmi prefest show later that day. I'll cover gas/whatever, and it'd be a pretty sweet birthday present for me!

landing orlando thursday at 4:25pm. was originally flying directly into gainesville but they changed the flight connection to one day later making it useless to me.. so im stuck in orlando now at 4:25pm

i would imagine a few other people are in this situation too that had that flight - im trying to leave as soon as i land and get to the prefest show at high dive.. i have no checked baggage. down to split some costs, although i do not have a license so i cant be the one driving.

lou, do you have room in your car still? I am thinking about taking a greyhound over from Tampa in the morning but I still need a ride up to Gainesville.

If you could get to Orlando airport for about 2.30 / 3pm that'd work perfectly.

I mean, ideally I'd like to get out of there before then since I'm pretty sure the show starts at 4:30 and Orlando's still a drive, but if you think we can get on the road pretty soon after you land then I'm definitely down.

I understand that earlier is better, but if you don't get a better offer and want to share that'd be cool.

Barring flight delays / giant immigration lines I'd hope to be on the road by like 3 / 3.30.

I can absolutely be at the airport at 3:00 if that's where you wanted to meet.

I am travelling over from england, i am going to some pre Fest shows in orlando but catching a ride to gainesville on the thursday would be wicked, i could be at the airport for that time and i could chuck in towards the costs, if it's cool with you?

Haha. I've met people in Orlando airport before and it seemed reasonably easy. There's just like an A part and a B part. Go to whichever one has the jetblue flights (I'm on flight 1784 from Bogota).

Thought I'd try hijack this post - just booked a last minute flight into Orlando obviously looking to get to Gainesville. I get in at 8pm on the 25th so just wondered if anyone was heading up late Thursday or early Fri?
