I've never been to the Fest before, so this may be a dumb question, but from what I've read theres a limit on the people allowed into a venue at a given time. Do the venues usually fill up pretty early, or is there no problem getting into a venue for the last show/headlining band?

If you want to see a band, get there early. Last year I don't think hitting capacity was a problem, but previous years places like High Dive and the Atlantic seemed to be pretty much at capacity every time I wanted to get in.
Edit: I ment High Dive, not 8 seconds... not sure what I was thinking

So leaving 8 Seconds in between Andrew Jackson Jihad & Frank Turner's sets is probably a bad idea?

its the smaller venues; atlantic, 1982, high dive that are more of a worry about filling up.
bigger venues; stereo, 8 seconds, florida theatre usually don't fill up and are easier to get in/out of
last year, florida theatre only filled up during a stretch of kid dynamite, hot water music, bouncing souls... but thats kind of expected

You should be alright leaving and getting back in that late on sunday.. on Sunday the crowd of Fest really starts to thin out later in the afternoon/evening.

On the Saturday, when do people think 8 Seconds will fill up?

The only time last year I can remember a venue being at capacity was at Florida Theater of Gainesville for both The Bouncing Souls and Kid Dynamite. I don't think the venues reach capacity that often, but it is something to be cognitive about when planning out when to leave for venues

Thank you everyone. & I'll definitely still be around for Sunday night, the majority of the bands I want to see are playing that day.

showerbeers wrote: On the Saturday, when do people think 8 Seconds will fill up? Eight Seconds is HUGE. It's actually bigger than FTOG but they infrastructure and stage don't allow them to house the bigger bands. I know all those guys well and the first year I was kind of helping them out with little issues. They got to capacity once Fest 9 and once on Fest 10 (at least for any amount of time). I think you'll be good at any point during the weekend to get in there depending on the line. They do have to hold things (as do all the venues) waiting for people to clear out from the show before, but that is about it. DH3
