For some reason I stopped getting updates on this thread. Weird.
Anywho, yeah, that original timeline for finishing this got fucked up. Had too much paid work to do and other really bad shit going down. The last few months have sucked, y'all. But, none of that matters here 'cause v1.0.0 is about finished. I just sent it to a small pool of beta testers to put it through its paces for the next day, and if nothing catastrophic comes up, it'll be good for release. I plan to put up the link Monday night.
It's built off the same code, so if you had a device that ran it last year, you've got one that'll run it this year.
Speaking of apps, anyone heard from the dude making the iOS one?

So I don't have an Android on my phone plan, but I do have one without a SIM card. Unfortunately, this restricts me from accessing the app store. Once the final version of the app is complete, is there any chance you could upload the apk somewhere online for me to download it, or send it via email or something?

Sure thing; I'll send you/people in similar situations the APK. Obviously I'd prefer people get it from the app store just to make sure they get updates easily.

Still working out the quirks, so I wasn't gonna unveil it until tomorrow (and you'll see a lot of updates coming tonight/tomorrow), but it's mostly ok. A few people have noted a crash when you open My Schedule, but it seems to be one show that fucks things up.

Just FYI, there was a bug that some of you have seen when checking your own schedule; it had to do with bands with '-' in their names; should be fixed now with the latest schedule update. (That "Updating Database" that pops up when you open on occasion)
Sorry for the hassle! If you see any bands with that in their name, post 'em so I can make the fix.

When I open the app, I get the "updating database" screen, but then I just get the error message "The application The Fest 11(process com.thefestfl.android11) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." and have to force close the app.
I have an HTC G2 and the Fest 10 app worked without any trouble last year. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for all you work on this!

Thanks in advance for all you work on this! This happens repeatedly? Hm. If it gives you the option to "Report," please do so; then it sends me the error details so I can figure out what went wrong. I have an idea and a fix should be up soon.

Thanks in advance for all you work on this! I'm getting this too with an HTC, will send an error report if it helps?
