I just got a new job, so I told them I would be going to a wedding Fest weekend. A lot of people had told me they are using this excuse to get out of work. Would anybody be interested in taking pictures of a fake wedding the first day of Fest to cover your ass with me?

This is an amazing idea. I'm willing to help out by bringing a shirt/tie and eating a cupcake from Karma Cream while wearing it. I'll definitely be buying a couple cupcakes from there anyway.

Also willing to drink champagne. Or just something out of a plastic champagne glass.

I might be able to get a handful of other people involved.

Two issues:

1. If your employer is asking for proof that you are in fact going to a wedding I would consider finding a job where they treat you as an adult. Why couldn't you have just said "I need a couple days off in a few moths."

2. If you are doing this in case someone asks, you are trying to hard to sell the lie and will most likely get caught. An abundance of details is a clear indication of the weakness of a story. Are your coworkers that nosey?

Next year somebody should just actually get married at Fest so it'll be legit. Get Mikey Erg or Tony or someone officiate it.

Last year there was a wedding. They came all the way from scotland and were all around a great group of people
