What the fuck. Price gouging bastards. 440 bucks a night? The same room costs 150$ right now. This is a joke, right?

I think it's more that they don't want people attending Fest to stay there. I don't think it's a case of price gouging(obviously they're raising the price ridiculously high, but I don't think it's so they'll profit). No person in their right mind will pay $400 to stay there.

I really hope no one books it at that price. I'm not entirely convinced it's to put people off though. I think they reckon they can cash in.

Guests 001 & 002. at the beginning before you load into the studio, you get an option of pictures to choose from. In honor of my grandma, I chose Plinko. Probably the best day my wife and I have EVER had on vacation! Highly recommend. Also, fuck Hampton Inn.

I stayed at that hampton inn the first year it opened which was about 3 years ago,I dont think the rooms were more than 80 a night back then...The next year they doubled their prices tho for Fest time and each year it keeps on going up and up..

Yeah us too. We emailed them to ask what was up with prices, without mentioning Fest, and they didn't even reply.

You could always do what I do. Stay next to the Hampton Inn in your car for 9 bucks a night...

This is a late reply but... the first year I went to Fest (Fest 8 ), the Hampton Inn was in its first year of being there. We stayed there for the weekend for $400! They were not prepared for the wrath of Fest goers though. The first night, they closed off the tiny pool that was at the side of the hotel. Then, some fellows from Leeds were staying on our floor and they got pretty wasted and caused quite the ruckus and damage. The following year, Fest 9, we wanted to stay there again, but the website wouldn't even let you make online registrations claiming that the hotel was "fully booked" for that week. So yeah, to make a long story short, we stayed at Plaza and The Hampton Inn has its reasons... they just are not down to party.

Yeah when the lady asked me if it was for Fest, I naively thought I would get a better rate not worse. I said that's insane and hung up on her. I think they're trying to cash in but maybe not. maybe it's just not worth it to them. who knows..

They dropped their prices a bit and I believe Dan (Danph on here) is now staying there. I think we should all throw rotten fruit at him and his crew for giving in to their money grabbing pricing policy that's not exactly in the spirit of Fest. This is not a jealousy thing,,,,honest!

hah, at least we waited until their price dropped a bit, so it's not totally buying into their bullshit.
i'll throw fresh fruit at you from the delicious breakfast buffet.

IF you pay in advance, you can stay there from Thursday-Monday for $958.00....with 4 people that is roughly $240 a person. I would be willing to pay that if I wasn't already at the Holiday Inn....
