There's a new food van that's just opened callled Go Go Stuff Yourself. It's being run by Nigel who used to own Common Grounds and does the No Idea BBQ and Gui from Army of Ponch/Rehasher/ Kill You Dead. This is the place I shall be checking out most this year I reckon!! Also, the Pelican Brothers van which was outside Double Down last year and will hopefully be about somewhere this year is also excellent. But if you want pub type grub then Mothers is fine.

From another thread about Fest food: DRHughes3 wrote: Hey all, Danny from Loosey's here! After last year and the giant cluster that we went through with food, we are changing things up a little for our menu over the weekend and one of the things we are adding is in fact BBQ! It will take a load off of our kitchen AND fill a void that downtown Gainesville is lacking and that is smoked stuff! We are going to do smoked, uncut chicken wings, sliced pork sandwiches and smoked tofu sandwiches. If you are gonna want some BBQ between shows, come see us!

A new Italian place took over Gator Dawgs called Bella Donna's. It's run by an enthusiastic family from NY. The food is orgasmic! $1.50 slices of pizza, $7 for a subs that are too filling, and their dinners are huge! I highly recommend giving this place a try when you're hungry.

Their Facebook says they're open till 3 AM on Thurs/Fri/Sat. Safe to say they will be getting my late-night drunchies business.

I'm pretty sure its mostly locals that go here and its pretty far out from Fest but a Place called Satchels is amazing. Great Pizza and amazing salads and they also have Vegan/Veg friendly stuff. It's a really cool place with what i am assuming is local artwork and stuff on the walls. I think its on NW 23rd street kinda out by the airport area. IF you have a car and can make it out that way definitely go here its great.

Caribbean Spice!
It's just east of the Holiday Inn on University Ave. Looks closed/empty from the outside but he's open. Nice dude that sells CHEAP (1.75-2.75) Jamaican patties and a daily special or two. One of the best places to grab a fast lunch in town.
