I've always enjoyed the beer showers but I've never been hit with an unopened can the best is when you're stuck in the front and someone pours beer down your back
I just like to imagine that it's water and I'm standing under a waterfall in paradise.

er, well once you wake up from the concussion ill remind you guys to be upset. i fully expect to be soaked in beer and other peoples bodily fluids at any show but that aint what we're talking about here. if throwing unopened tallcans above peoples heads is now acceptable at punk shows ill see you guys there with a bunch of baseballs.. you cant drink them if it lands on your head but the sensation should be similar..

Ok dude, when you see someone purposely trying to murder people with cans of beer you can stop them how ever you please. Have at it. Or you can complain about it on the Internet, your choice.

Hey this will be my first Fest and I have a few questions.
1) can we park easily near the holliday inn/the venues/ in W university ave ? 2) For registration, I heard that there is a lot of people and that it is very long, the registrations open a 12.00 , if I go at the holliday inn for 12.00, there will already be a lot of people? Should I go sooner? What are your advices ? (i can't go the day before for early registration) 3)Which venues are always full of people and it's impossible to enter without waiting for hours? and at the opposite, which venues are not that crowded an you can enter in without waiting?
I think this is all for the moment, thanks

I think this is all for the moment, thanks 1) don't know 2) arrive early. 3) the smaller venues will be hardest to get into but that'll depend on who's playing, who's playing next. don't stand in a line if it's gonna take longer than 20 minutes to get into. also, the lines at the beginning of the day will take a while cause all of the IDs have to be checked since it's only one or two people doing that.

jean wrote: 1) can we park easily near the holliday inn/the venues/ in W university ave ? Not sure, since I just park at my friend's apartment complex. I do know you'll get towed if you park at BK by Holiday Inn, though, so don't do that. Where are you staying? There's a good chance you can just leave your car at your hotel all weekend and just walk everywhere. jean wrote: 2) For registration, I heard that there is a lot of people and that it is very long, the registrations open a 12.00 , if I go at the holliday inn for 12.00, there will already be a lot of people? (i can't go the day before for early registration) Registration last year was way worse than it was expected to be, but I have a feeling it's going to go much quicker this year because of early registration. If I don't get in town early enough Thurs for pre-reg, I'll plan on heading over to reg around 11. jean wrote: 3)Which venues are always full of people and it's impossible to enter without waiting for hours? and at the opposite, which venues are not that crowded an you can enter in without waiting? You'll probably have to show up fairly early to any of the Mystery Sets. Depending on the band, any venue could have a decent sized line or no line at all, though.

Hey thanks for your answers, it will help! We stay at the econolodge university gainesville, it's 3 miles far from the holliday inn, I'm sure we can do this walking, but it would be awesome if I can park my park at 5-10 minutes from the venues, so I can put some stuff in between shows etc... Any ideas where to park? Also I don't want the car to trashed etc ... haha
