That's like saying the veggie burger at the BBQ place wasn't that good. You don't really go to those places for those type of things.

What's the name of that pizza place on Main St on the walk to CMC from University? I grabbed a couple of large/decently priced/New Yorker approved slices there last year.

Big Lou's?
I stayed at Hampton last year and hit them up one day. Good stuff.
I wish they were open post shows.

If you go, put some micanopy gold sauce on anything. David's may have expanded since i lived in gainesville but theres always been the one down 222 westbound (or 39th st) about halfway from downtown to I75 (on a side note, if you find yourself at david's, you might as well check out the Devils Millhopper on 53rd/millhopper rd, its bananas)

Pretty close to the Festivities. Also, Big Lou's Pizza downtown in open until 3am on weekends now.

Peej - Did they/have they change the Sunday licensing hours for alcohol? I read somewhere last year (maybe in the guidebook) that they were looking at doing it for this year. Good question. Yes they did. Sunday is now just like any other day. Alcohol may be sold in bars and stores until 2am. So, in effect, the Fest has been lengthened by 3 hours.

Ive been eating at El Indio since I was 10. Its basically like a taco stand in a tiny drive through building. The burritos are rad as fuck. Plus its like a block from the hotel on 13th st.
Its been a while since ive been back home though, Im pretty sure its still there.

Hey all, Danny from Loosey's here! After last year and the giant cluster that we went through with food, we are changing things up a little for our menu over the weekend and one of the things we are adding is in fact BBQ! It will take a load off of our kitchen AND fill a void that downtown Gainesville is lacking and that is smoked stuff! We are going to do smoked, uncut chicken wings, sliced pork sandwiches and smoked tofu sandwiches. If you are gonna want some BBQ between shows, come see us!
