Hey everyone! My names Emma and i live in the North of England. I was having a gander through the band section on the main site and something popped into my head. I have a bunch of British buddys playing this year, who you should all check out (Great Cynics, Leagues Apart, Bear Trade, Andrew Cream, Mark McCabe etc) and it popped into my head that Iona from Cynics is the only British Lady playing this year. I know there's a few other girls representin' from around the globe which is awesome, but even then the margin is pretty slim next to you fellas. So i was just wondering what you girls and guys thought about this? Because i know for sure i would love to see a few more girls on future Fest line ups. Share your opinions on this, and what you think, i'm interested to know what everyone else thinks, not just myself! Emma x (Fest Noob)

More ladies in/appreciating punk is always a good thing.

I'm always a fan of female vocals.
Here's a list of bands with ladyfolk in them that I could find, but I probably missed some:
Mixtapes Laura Stevenson and the Cans Good Luck The Wild Lemuria Wet Nurse Great Cynics American Pinup Candy Hearts Fellow Project Gateway District Hop Along Lindsey Mills and the Mangy Mutts No Weather Talks Party Drag Saintseneca Shellshag Stoned at Heart Teenage Softies The Ones to Blame The Soviettes Wetlands Caves RVIVR Heartsounds Worriers

RVIVR has (imho) the best female vocalist. Vocals are split though.

I'm still gutted that Lipstick Homicide aren't on the bill. And New Creases for that matter.

i think of all the fests i go to and have been to (uk/us/europe) females in bands are probably best represented in @ Fest. 250 odd bands may well have something to do with it mind.

I know they're not ladies, but 7 Seconds always plays "Not Just Boys Fun" which I enjoy.

Very much looking forward to seeing both Erica and Laura perform again. Caves were also amazing last year.
