Just search the board for camping sites. And when Fest gets closer, word about after parties will start to spring up.

What kind of things should I pack with me? (Thinking of making a Fest kit of Advil, cigarettes, bottled water, ganja and accessories, etc.)
Whats a good budget for shows, food, booze, and merch? (1000$ seems good enough for me, including plane tickets)
How is the public transit in Gainsville?
How do cops treat Fest-goers? I plan on being well behaved, but still.
What are the 5 best places to eat?
thanks and see you in october! The cops I met last year were hilarious and just hanging out with us [possibly because of the group of scantily clad (due to Halloween) girls we'd befriended] but yeah, very chilled out.

Hey everyone I'm Erin from Sydney, Australia. Last year was my first Fest and this time around there will be a few more of us (all staying at Paramount). People should go watch Anchors and The Smith Street Band as they will have travelled all the way from Melbourne

HEEEYY!! I am Shannon, 26, and traveling alone from Michigan to the Fest and meeting up with my sister and her boyfriend from Tucson, AZ down there. We are staying at the Magnolia Plantation B&B because we are fancy.. will be there from the 24-29. This is my FIRST time at Fest and I could NOT be more excited. Every other year has fallen through and Nursing school owned my life and finances for a few of those years as well. I am totally stoked, can't wait to party, make some bad decisions, meet some cool people and listen to rad music. I have like zero friends from Michigan that have good taste in music so if you're from the area or just want to drink beers and give high fives all weekend long, add me on the only social network I have... http://www.facebook.com/shannon.meske.3

Hey, I'm Heather! I'm 24 and am currently living in Huntsville, AL (yuck) but I grew up in St. Pete, Florida. I'm a mother, restaurant worker, and a certified nursing assistant - which means if you start choking on something, come and try to pass out in front of me because I'm pretty awesome at CPR. This will be my first Fest, but I'm attending with my boyfriend who is on his 4th or 5th? (I can't remember) I'm really friendly, even if socially awkward (in the ohmygodwhywon'titstop sense), and I'd really dig having more friends that have things in common with me. http://www.facebook.com/theheatherbeasthttp://www.opossumtoes.tumblr.com/

I'm from north of Daytona Beach, but I went to college in Alabama. I could not imagine the culture shock and just emotional agony of moving from St. Pete to Huntsville. You have my sympathy

You know, I lived in Daytona Beach for 20 years, and when that new Harley dealership went up on 95, I never went. I heard they had good BBQ. I'd always meet people at that Dairy Queen, though. They don't mind if you sell drugs all day in their parking lot, as long as you buy a cone or two.

The Pig Stand has EXCELLENT barbecue. And the Houligan's next to it has the best wings I've ever had. The "everything" wings (all the flavors) are amazeballs.

I really feel like I hate everything about that town, until someone tells me something that's been around for a while, and then I want to love it. I feel like a middle school girl with the football team and being a slut.
