I always wind up spending more money on food than t-shirts or records while I'm at Fest.

Where does everyone eat? What do they offer/prices/veg friendly?/atmosphere etc.

Gainesville is vegan Mecca. Reggae Shack's jerk tofu is my favorite, but watch out, it's hot as hell.

The hot dog stand just up from Market Street Pub (or whatever it's now called) is arguably better than Gator Dawgs although obviously a far smaller choice. Veggie dogs too but not sure if vegan or not. Run by a really nice dude too but I will miss Gator Dawgs al the same.

As long as Gyro Plus is still in town then I'm happy. Delicious falafael wraps....can't wait!

I ate so much incredible food last year, but I don't know if I ever actually had breakfast food. Where's the best vegan breakfast?

So (because this is our first year and we don't really know what to expect) can I assume that there will be loads of food vendors on the streets? And if so, any we must try (or avoid)? Our schedule is going to be pretty packed and I suspect we will be eating in 10 minute increments between shows for most of the weekend.

I've never seen any food venders on the streets. Loads of good places to eat though.

The only street vendor I can think of is a hot dog cart. For quick and close food I'd recommend 5 Star Pizza by High Dive. Their vegan pizza was pretty damn good. If you can spare an hour of rest in your schedule, though, I'd highly suggest going to a sitdown like Reggae Shack, Boca Fiesta, or Leonardo's. Harvest Thyme Cafe over by The Atlantic is tasty and fairly quick too.
