So they announced the Fat Tour this fall that will have Lagwagon, Dead To Me, the Flatliners, and Useless I.D. touring. The dates lead up to Fest. I have a hunch that Useless I.D. will be added.

I Hate Myself said they wanted to do a reunion show in, you guessed it, Gainesville, FL.

Wow. Maybe I should have prefaced that email with, "since you aksked, just between us:". Oh well. I am old and not used to this world of publishing all of your private correspondence. Anyway, we might play some time, some where, with some one. It won't be the Fest. Mostly because I am busy working for Tony all weekend. And it just wouldn't be fun for us. That is why we do things. Fun.
Jon p.s. die Hoffnung is playing August 4th at the Atlantic. I am sorry we are not I hate myself but Jim, Travis, and I enjoy it a great deal. |

I love I Hate Myself, and as a Gainesville local I think I'd prefer a non-fest show.. Maybe I'm being greedy but I prefer to think of it of having a nice dinner with close friends compared to going to a buffet with people who
Share your interest in food... But they knock all the silverware on the ground and cough in the salad bar and stuff like that... |

No real advertising, no sponsors, only two bands, and cheap. And it helped support some good friends' businesses. Jon |
