Who else was smart like me to buy their plane tickets early enough when it's still cheap to flight right into Gainesville?
Best decision I ever made cause trying to find a ride, from Orlando, Jacksonville sucked. |

I'm flying in on the Wednesday from New York and paid like 100$ for the flight I'm happy with that price, would have cost me about the same to fly to Jacksonville. How do you get in to town from the airport? any better/cheaper way than taxi?

It costs about $20 bucks to get a cab ride into Gainesville from the airport.... you could always walk into town? See if you can find anyone to split a cab with....

The Holiday Inn has a free shuttle. IF you're not staying there, take it anyways and depending on where you are staying walk from there or take a cab, that'd be less expensive.

That's a great idea punk_sk, will do that. I'm stayin at the Gainesville lodge so it shouldnt be that far away to wal.
