But they livestreamed the first three songs of their set last night (Blue Comb '78, Oh Cananda (?), and American Kryptonite). They were planning to livestream all of it (great audio, terrible video) but the Kickstarter ticket-holders got mad because they paid to have a special show. I will definitely be seeing them in 2013 when they schedule a legit tour. They're just doing festivals this year. I actually ran into two FIF fans at Fest last year. I couldn't believe it.

I stayed up all night the night before our flight left. I felt like I was on a youth group trip. people were putting names with pictures on their doors and shit. I was for sure the only person at the event hotel who was drunk most of the weekend. haha. It was incredible. I might have cried a little bit. it started with a little kid yelling in the mic, "the end is over!" it still gives me goose bumps. haha. & leanor was super hot.....

it still gives me goose bumps. haha. Oh man… Now I'm getting all choked up and emotional. I have never been as passionate about a band's music as I was with Five Iron in high school. I got into them about a year before they broke up, and they became all I listened to to while driving to and from school. It was ridiculous. Watching the DVD a year ago brought back all the good times goofing off in youth, because watching the band was just like watching the videos kids used to make during camp. I am so stoked to finally see them. I feel like I just found out a myth is true. FIF is actually touring and I can see them next year!!

If you don't like that or think it's uncool, you need to find someone else to talk to. I like to like stuff. You totes need to frame that note from Leanor. I got Frank Turner and his super adorable bass player to sign my setlist from when they opened for the Dropkick Murphys a couple months ago, I'm totally having that framed with my ticket stub
