Lagwagon is on top of such a list for me. They haven't toured my neck of the woods in four years and they are really really good live

Nice. The European tour I'm assuming? That sounds like a great time

I do that whenever I see Joey Cape do one of his acoustic tours with Jon Snodgrass, haha. Well, I used to before it stopped being funny

There's always that one drunk asshole who yells "PLAY MR. COFFEE!" like he doesn't hear that every night on tour. Okay, I take back my first point. It's actually pretty hilarious

Great that you wanna come hang in our town, but with the Fest selling out maybe people that don't get to see awesome bands all the time should cOme instead of people who just want to hang around? Hanging is a huge part of Fest for sure but saying that you aren't really comin to see bands is kind of silly. I love going to the movie theater. But not really to see movies, just like hanging....

I think you are missing the point. What we are saying is that we'll most likely go, no matter what bands are playing. We still come to see bands, but they are not the only reason to go.

Yeah, this.

Don't get me wrong, the bands and the music are still a massive part of it but it's the people and the atmosphere that make it what it is. At the same time I'm a big Rehasher fan and Fest is the only time anyone ever gets to see them play. And one of my favourite things to do at Fest is hit up a venue at random and check out bands I've not heard of and where else are you gonna be able to do that?

When I say it doesn't matter what bands play and it's not about who plays that much I don't mean that as in 'Oh it's the same bands every year etc I don't care about who's playing' it's like 'Music's gonna be awesome anyway but even if it wasn't, everybody attending is awesome too and I want to hang out with them for the weekend.'

Last year I fantasized about seeing Kid Dynamite, and it managed to happen. So this year I'll cross my fingers (no pun intended) for 88 Fingers Louie.

I don't think 88 Fingers Louie are playing gigs any more unfortunately but I was hoping the singers new band Explode and Make Up would play. Half the band are in the Bomb who are playing anyway so I thought there might be a chance. Check them ou here if you haven't already...

The Bomb and EAMU are awesome bands!
