Last year I finally made it to the Fest after 9 years of setbacks (being broke and in college covered most of those years) and had the time of my life.

After that experience i want to go every year forever.

I'm Joe. I currently live in Charlotte, NC where people are beer snobs and indie kids for the most part. Just relocated here from Orlando after graduation. This will be my 6th Fest and I am more stoked than ever to be part of a generally great community. It's crazy to me how The Fest went from being "a cool music festival" to "the one weekend that my year revolves around". I've met a ton of cool people but never really stayed in touch outside of the Fest, but hopefully that will change this year. I'm staying in the holiday inn from thursday through sunday and I can't wait. I'm always down to meet new members of the Fest family.

This will be my first (of many) Fest and I am travelling from Sydney, Australia with my lovely girlfriend Jade. This will be the first solo voyage overseas for both of us. We are also visiting New York, Disneyworld and Hawaii.
