Hey dude, I currently have a group of 3 (including myself) that will be departing from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The town is right on the route I-12/I-10 route and I would potentially be interested in grouping up.

What day are you trying to depart and get back?

I'll probably be going through Baton Rouge on the 24th and back on the 30th. I've got Thursday-Monday reservations at the holiday inn and want to be there for early registration, being that I'm trying to get a table for my studio at the flea market.

That probably wouldn't be doable for us because of time constraints, looking to leave Thursday and come back early Monday. Thanks though.

I would totally do this if i had more time seeing as i'm from Austin anyway. We could have had conversations along the way about Whataburger and pizza.

I'll be coming from Waco, and will be looking for a carpool from Dallas or Austin. I've got a Holiday Inn room only Thursday through Sunday though, so I'll have to see if I can find a ride/flight back earlier.

Yeah, if you could make it to Austin, that should work. I was definitely thinking of powering through. Should make for either a good first night's sleep or a miserable exuberant grab at diving into whatever is going on...hopefully the first.

Are you still doing this? If you still have room, what time do you expect to leave Austin on Thursday (early morning, or afternoon?)? I went to buy a plane ticket today, and all my flight options from Waco kind of suck.
