Hey everyone, on behalf of everyone at Anthem Tattoo I just want to give a sincere thank you for last year. It means a lot that so many people have made us part of their Fest. Last year was overwhelming, exhausting, and amazing. Ir's always great to meet so many travelers and hear so many stories. I know we got a little backed up here and there, but we promise to do all that we can to meet as many of you as possible. You all rule!

What would be the best day during Fest to come and get tattooed at Anthem?

Monday after the Fest. Don't risk the infection and pain of a fresh tattoo.

QFT.

I got a Fest tattoo on my leg (from Tim, thanks again!) and while we were walking back through downtown some dudes from one of the shitty tattoo shops stopped me and started criticizing because I had saran wrap on my fresh tattoo and trying to talk shit and tell me I should have gotten tattooed at their gross shop instead and that their Fest tattoos were only $40. They didn't even have a flash sheet of them in the window, just a piece of paper printed through MS Word with "Fest Tattoos" on it in several different fonts. Cool dudes, cool shop.

Haha I saw that place. I'm still wondering if anyone actually paid for a tattoo from there...

If you're worried about keeping it clean definitely the later in the Fest the better. Last year we came in on Monday for some people that made appointments, and do whatever last walk-ins we could. If you just can't wait...We started getting busy about 10-11, and then the shop slows down in the evening when people are more likely to be at the shows.

We heard about that other shop, thank you for not being fooled. It was reported they went as far as printing off the "stress face flash" we took the time to make. It was hard to be too upset though, with everyone seeing right through them. Thanks for the support.

Last year the shop made a flash sheet of different "stress face" designs in honor of our friends at No Idea, and tattooed them for $50. One of these was an owl.

I'm sure we will have it back again this year. We also hope to have some new ideas this year. It will be hard to out do last years wonderful response, but we are gonna try to make it bigger and better.
