So, this is the first year ever that me being able to come down to Fest could be an actual possibility. I need to make my plans way in advance so I can assure that I get the time off work, so I am exploring all sorts of possibilities for getting down to Fest. Would anyone coming from Wisconsin / Minnesota be interested in a carpool/hotel split situation? I have no idea if I'll be able to convince any of my friends to make the trek and I definitely need to go.

I'll figure something out no matter what, but I figure this would be a great way to make some new friends and have a strange adventure.

I'll be coming down from Minnesota, provided I don't move before then. I think we're already set on a group of four for our room and stuff and a few of us are pretty set on flying but we should definitely keep in touch.

I'll also be heading out there from Minneapolis, and most likely flying. Not sure about the hotel situation yet, but I've got a few people I usually end up splitting a hotel with. We'll see!

I am leaning towards flying after crunching all the numbers that driving would involve. Flying seems like less of an overall headache, less missed work time, more conducive to hangovers, etc.

If either of you guys needs a filler for a hotel room, let me know, I haven't gotten in touch with all my friends yet but if I end up going solo and making friends that is just fine with me.

i will most likely be driving from minneapolis with a stop in appleton. i will be renting a car and getting a hotel room...im not sure how many people are going at this point but hopefully 3. maybe 4.
