Since the Fest keeps getting bigger and bigger every year, wouldn't it be cool to have a couple of Rappers (Vinnie Paz, OFWGKTA, and Curren$y are good calls) and some more Hardcore bands that attract the type of kid who likes The Fest (Ceremony, Trash Talk, Weekend Nachos(this has been debated in other threads already)?

I'd rather see some ska get added to the lineup. (Other than LTJ, BTMI, and WATU)

Bomb The Music Industry! and We Are The Union always play The Fest and Less Than Jake tends to be a headliner every once in a while (or that's what I am aware of). It would be nice if River City Rebels played a reunion show or if Streetlight Manifesto/Catch 22 played a split set or something like that. At least, Ska bands have played throughout the years. I'm pretty sure that I am not the only one who would be stoked to watch a Rapper. I am not talking about all that Lil Wayne fancy shit, just with 2 or 3 Rappers wil be enough for me. Vinnie Paz, Curren$y, and Odd Future would be good additions to the line up. I am crossing my fingers for more Fest-style Hardcore bands and 1-3 Rappers. Fest keeps getting bitter, so that would be a good possibility

no way Odd Future would be on The Fest. Those guys are hyped up so much, Fest could never afford their fee.
Go with rappers who might actually have some sort of tie to the punk rock scene, like MURS, maybe some of the guys from Quannum Crew, who have a more live/political/upbeat oriented style.
He didn't make it to the last Few, but I think they should hire Chason Huggins as their official hip-hop liaison.

Those dudes played SXSW (played with Trash Talk lol) and Chaos In Tejas. Now, even people at my school (a place that is involved by the people with the shittiest taste in music(Lil Wayne, Asking Alexandria, Drake)) know them

because of how many different genres of music there are there... it's awful. as cool as it is to walk stage to stage, the crowd REALLY sucks. because of that, i will not be returning.

Some of my friends told me that there were los of dust. They also told me that the stages had like a barricade and security, and blah blah. However, they always have good bands playing. I wanted to go this year for Ceremony, Bane, Kid Dynamite, Paint It Black, Trash Talk, From Ashes Rise, and Negative Approach. Don't give 2 fucks about Slayer

you really don't pay attention to the subject at hand. i will blame it on you being young.
you can see any of those bands in a better situation. in fact, every band i saw at fff Fest i have seen in a better situation than i did there. but getting back to the subject at hand, because of all the different stages, the crowd is awkward and weird. the Fest rules because i feel like for the most part, everybody has similar interests in music and what not. but when you get the different crowds, there's a weird vibe. not the vibe that the Fest had.
so as much as i enjoy hip hop and rap, i don't think it has ANY place at the Fest. if you want to see it, go to other shows and fests.

Good point, but you are like at least 4 years older than me haha. At this time, I would kill to see Reach The Sky or Lifetime at the shittiest spot in the whole wide world lol. And I can see what you mean by weird since many of my friends went there lol. I'm not saying that there should be 10 Rappers at The Fest, I'm just saying that as The Fest is getting bigger and bigger, it would be cool to have 2 or 3 Rappers perform. That's all. And The Fest does rule more than probably any other Fest I haven't been to. As dumb as that sounded lol
