Come on, it's okay to dream

Haha yeah you're kinda dreaming with some of these........... TBIAPB JUST broke up this year, odds of them reuniting next year are pretty slim methinks.

Also, I don't think Staring Back will ever play again.

Staring Back is putting out a new cd in 2013. I talked to Ryan and Jason and they told me that. Also, they have some new songs too!

I didn't know about This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb, wow what a bummer :(

Yeah, they have played every Fest I've gone to except this one. They broke up in maybe February or March, which is prettttttttttttty likely the reason they didn't play this year. I was bummed.

I can't tell if you're being serious or sarcastic about Staring Back though. If serious, that's cool. "ON" was a great fucking record, but pardon my ignorance... would people care still?

Yeah, they got back together. Ask Ryan or Jason, or just go to their Facebook page. Would people care? Judging by how many fans they have on their Facebook page, I would say no. However, On was and is probably one of my favorite Pop Punk records of all time. Back when Lobster had a sweet roster. I also enjoy the sillyness behind The Mean Streets Of Goletta and Many Will Play. Staring Back is one of the most underrated bands out there. Ryan told me that what is keeping him from recordig more often with Staring Back, are his duties with Yellowcard. But yeah, new Staring Back record coming out in the next 1 or 2 years!

I'm serious :P

Well, if they keep going in the direction of ON, then I'm quite stoked for this.

Seems kind of unlikely they'd make it on Fest let alone any touring that isn't on the West Coast region though.

Yeah, the new song sounds like if it was an On b-side, if you know what I mean. Arggh, I would love to see them play at The Fest, it would be a blast!

Go to their Facebook page, they have quite a few "recent" updates!

I think it'd also be cool if Reach The Sky played at a small bar or something haha

I saw Reach The Sky at 1982 years ago. Except back then, 1982 was called Common Grounds.

sorry, I'm old.

In the 90s, the place that is now called Double Down was called The Covered Dish. CG was an actual coffeehouse/bar/venue where 1982 is now. The Dish closed down in early 2000, and was empty for about 3 years. Then the owners of CG bought it and moved their operation. Not sure when 1982 opened up.

I really miss the Dish. it had a lowered area in front of the stage, and rail around that, sort of like how Market Street Pub did. It was always non-smoking inside, and there was a kick-ass mural around the entire outside of the building.

I like some of the renovations they made when it became Common Grounds, but I liked the lowered floor area, even though it probably made the capacity smaller, due to fire codes. That black square in the middle of the floor now used to be a clear plastic window that showed how far down the original floor was.

Also, the porch are had no bar, and the whole thing was actually an elevated deck, that you could only get to from inside the club. The raised deck was kinda cool, but it's much bigger outside now.

I think the Covered Dish was also always all ages. So was Common Grounds, back when it was at the 1982 location.

Just came here to say I want Direct Hit!

I'm going to see Lifetime in Belgium, however can never see them enough.

House Boat would be sweet. Fuck it, just tell mikey to play an Ergs set, please!

Lawrence Arms definitely.

My never will happen dream band of course is Jawbreaker, I'd probably have to break something out of excitement and get a ticket cus they'd sell out in approx. 10 minutes
