oh, and I'll have less than what I thought I would have...about 280.00. I should be fine, I think. Like I said, I dont plan on buying any merch except for a Fest shirt, for sure. I'm not much of a drinker either, so I'll be saving money there as well

Bought 5 records and a Vaya Bags purse at the Fest registration flea market. Everything else went to food and whatnot, and I come home with about $60 of it left in total. Splurged because I had the option to this year. I actually almost did mail my records back home to risk them not being damaged on the plane back, but decided to save money and packed them extra tightly in my suitcase (in a vinyl mailer). All came back in one piece.

I specifically did not buy any records because I wasn't checking a bag and I knew something would happen to them in transit.
I got out under $100, though. I didn't buy any of my own beer and some of my friends got me meals since they were out and I didn't want to leave certain places due to not missing bands. It helped. And I only bought one shirt. All in all, I think I did the trip pretty cheap. I'm ready for next year. |
