Wether it's on Facebook or somewhere else, I read nothing but complains about the new Hot Water Music shirts that are being made. Apparently it's the clothing line (Tultex). People say they shrink WAY TOO MUCH and I'm afraid to put on the 2 shirts that I bought just because of that. Also, when I bought my hoodie, the insertion pin of it was missing...

Do any of you have the same complaints?

The little flat thing in one of the bottom corners of the zipper in which you insert yout pin (the thing that you slide up and down) if that makes any sense....

oh that sucks, so I guess you can't zip it up. Can you take it to a tailor? They'd probably charge you like $5.

I mean I can but it's a pain in the butt! haha. Yeah, I'll most likely do that on Monday. I guess I've learned a lesson. Don't ever buy shirts from that brand!

I bet if you write the band they will help you out. Its all about helping the one person that makes the difference.

Also, I have not had any issues with tultex. There again, the shirts I have are the thin ones that are like 25% poly. That could make a difference. I am curious to know people's thoughts about this brand as we have used them for a few no idea related shirts recently.

Hey Vardcore,

Thanks for the information. What happened to my hoodie is that when I bought it, the insertion pin was missing. I am afraid to put the shirts on and wash them afterwards, because according to some research that I have done, they tend to shrink a lot. I messaged Hot Water Music, but they haven't replied and it's been almost 2 weeks. Is there anything else that I can do about this? Also, could you tell me your thoughts about Tultex. Is there anything to do that won't make them shrink?

Response will be appreciated :)

So you are afraid to wear the shirt because you read on the internet that they might shrink and then you won't be able to wear them any more? People spend their time reading about t-shirts on the internet when they could be reading worthwhile literature or writing songs or helping other people? You do realize they are just shirts, right? There will be more shirts made. Donate them to charity if they shrink. There are far more important things going on in the world than the slight contraction of woven cotton.

I bought probably 15 or so shirts this year, about 5 of which wound up not fitting right or shrinking too much.

Of the ones that wound up not fitting/shrinking too much, 2 of them were "Gildan Softstyle" and 1 was Tultex.

In my experience the best shirts that always fit the best and don't shrink too much are Gildan Heavy Cotton and Gildan Ultra Cotton. Anything else is always a gamble

^^ This problem is so much more pressing than shirts not fitting. Why is it whenever a man gets riled about something, he's said to be acting feminine? HIS EMOTIONAL STATE ESTABLISHES THAT MEN GET MAD, TOO. GETTING UPSET IS NOT SOMETHING ONLY "CHICKS" AND "GIRLIE MEN" DO.

I'm so tired of living in a society where the biggest insult a person can dish out is to call someone a woman.
